Division of Environmental Protection
When Paleo Properties set out to build a new 28,000 office for the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection in the small town of Oak Hill, West Virginia, Morgan Bracken sought out the best help she could find. Morgan reflects, “A well-respected businessman introduced me to Dave Pray. It didn’t take long for me to realize that he was a no nonsense guy with a wealth of experience and a visionary within the building industry.” She continues, “In today’s business environment efficiency is the competitive advantage needed to compete. Dave’s expertise using Lean Construction practices brought efficiencies to a whole new level.”
Dave has a unique gift for the details but always focused on the “big” picture. Dave’s leadership allowed our project to come in on time and under budget.” – Morgan Bracken
Pray selected a West Virginia based team including Thrasher Group as designers and Swope Construction as builders to complete the six month project. Swope’s President and CEO Ron Mallory was grateful to have PrayWorks at the helm. Ron remarked, “Unfortunately commercial construction has become a combat sport in the way that contracts are structured…Pray Works was instrumental in bringing the owner, architect and all team members together for a successful project.” Keeping all parties in harmony is not easy, but PrayWorks ensures all are working toward success.
“Having Dave aboard as an owner’s representative was one of the best business decisions I’ve ever made. Construction can be a tough business but Dave brought honesty and integrity to the table. With his high energy, enthusiasm and people skills he created a sense of fair play and a team effort for all parties involved throughout the entire process.”
