Bailey & Glasser Office Washington DC

Based on a long working relationship, Bailey & Glasser hired PrayWorks to represent them in the creation of their office in Washington, DC. A fast track project, the 13,000 square foot renovation was completed in 13 weeks. PrayWorks partnered with Cresa, the area’s preeminent commercial real estate firm to locate the space in the prestigious Georgetown area of DC.

Pray selected CRTKL architects and HSU Builders to create the alluring office space. The office contains 22 private offices, a war room, a large and small conference room, a modern café and spacious outdoor patio for entertaining which create an appealing workspace for Bailey & Glasser. CRTKL and Bailey and Glasser won a 2019 award for this project from the Commercial Real Estate Development Association for Best Interior for 10,000 to 25,000 square feet.

The involvement of PrayWorks was critical in the success of this project. HSU’s Director of Operations, Steven Smith, quickly built a trusting relationship with Dave Pray.

Smith appreciated Pray’s approach to a complicated process.

“Trust was quickly established from the first meeting, and this made for an enjoyable experience not always realized in the commercial construction world. Pray is always seeking out methods to increase individual and team performance, including advising beforehand or capturing lessons learned.”
– Steven Smith

Mindy Saffer, Managing Principal at Cresa was thrilled to have Dave on the team. “I had a wonderful experience working with Dave on the Bailey Glasser relocation project. His project management process is so organized the project was seamless. I was so impressed, I have asked Dave to meet with our project management team to share his process which he generously agreed to do,” explains Mindy.

“With Dave representing the owner, our success on the project can in large part be attributed to his skills and leadership. The HSU team found Dave consistently encouraging partnering solutions to tough problems encountered within any construction project.”
